AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani confirmed that Massimiliano Allegri and Robinho will not be leaving the club despite reports stating the contrary.

The 68-year-old was a guest on La Domenica Sportive on Sunday night and spoke about the duo, while also commenting on Filippo Inzaghi, Andrea Bertolacci , and Pato.

“[Robinho] is doing well with us and he doesn’t want to go to Brazil anymore,” Galliani stated.

“Santos, however, are the only team he would leave us for but only for family reasons. He is happy here just as we are happy to have him with us.”

“Bertolacci? We will see as we have already signed Saponara. We will continue to play with the 4-3-3 and we already have a lot of players for next season. I don’t know if we are a model for other teams but we have obviously changed our direction.”

“Inzaghi? We haven’t decided if he will be the Primavera coach yet.”

“Allegri? He will be the leader of all our coaches and he will be the one who dictates the training methods and formations to the other coaches. The model we are following is that of Ajax. AC Milan rarely send their coaches away.”

“Selling Pato made me realize how different the market is. In the past we went there to purchase, and instead, we now go to Brazil to sell. Signing players like Kaka for €7 million doesn’t happen anymore. At this moment the country producing the most players are Colombia.”

Milan needs to focus on getting young Italian players. Look at the hype they have created just by getting two of the better ones (El Shaarawy and De Sciglio). Having more italians will help Milan get the kind of unity that Juve has.

The most important thing ac milan need to focus more on youth be an italian player or not.
