Giampaolo turns down Pescara

has rejected the chance to become the new coach of this afternoon.

The Delfini have been without a coach since sacking in the wake of their defeat at home to Udinese this past weekend.

President announcesd yesterday that a decision would be made on their new boss last night although Sky Italia are reporting that Giampaolo has turned them down.

He was contacted by the club but could not agree a deal with the relegation strugglers who are currently occupying the bottom three.

It was widely expected that Primavera coach would take over as first team coach until the end of the season and he may still be offered the vacancy.
