Inter lay framework to sign Argentine striker

are chasing ’s in hopes of signing the striker in the summer.

The Nerazzurri have already secured the signatures of several signings for next season including Marco Andreolli, Diego Laxalt,  and Hugo Campagnaro with Ruben Botta being the latest signing.

Through their good relationship with Diego Milito’s agent, Fernando Hidalgo, the Nerazzurri are looking to sign another of his clients in Lisandro Lopez.

The 30-year-old’s contract with Lyon expires in 2014 and would be available for a lower transfer fee in the summer as it is unlikely he will extend his deal with the French side.

Juventus had been linked with a move for Buenos Aires native in January before signing Nicolas Anelka, but the Nerazzurri are now viewed as the favourites to land El Bandoneonista.

Adriano Boin

- A passionate F.C. Internazionale supporter since the young age of 10, my love for the club came about on a family trip to Italy after their signing of Roberto Baggio. Much to the dismay of my father (a Milan fan) my love for the club only grew stronger and has taken me on trips to Genova and Boston to see my club in action. The greatest of these journeys was being blessed by incredible luck (to which this day I still cannot comprehend) which allowed me to travel to Madrid, see the 2010 Champions League Final in the flesh and experience a week-long trip that will probably never be surpassed. Feel free to add me on Twitter to talk about Inter, Italy or calcio in general @Boin44
