Juventus target states desire to leave Belgium
Anderlect strikerĀ Dieumerci Mbokani has stated his desire to leave Anderlecht at the end of the season despite having another year remaining on his contract.
The 27-year-old was recently sent-off against Genk, resulting in a rant from the Congolese striker as he looks to angle a move to Italian giants Juventus.
“I am very upset, the referee should protect players rather than allowing them to be fouled hard,” he told Sky Sports.
“It is true that I score a lot, but this is not right. I want to go to a country where strikers are protected on the pitch.”
Mbokani was linked with a move to the Bianconeri last summer though the move never materialized. He has scored 17 goals in 19 Belgian Pro League appearances for Anderlect this season, while adding 2 goals in 5 matches in the Champions League.
