Juventus to sell striker in order to raise funds?
Juventus could be saying goodbye to Mirko Vucinic in the summer in order to raise funds to sign a “top player” according to reports in Italy.
The Montenegrin striker joined the Bianconeri from Roma in 2011 scoring 15 goals in 55 Serie A appearances. He is largely seen as one of Antonio Conte’s key players as he is a regular starter when fit.
Calciomercato.com are reporting that Sir Alex Ferguson is an admirer of the strikers talents, and wants to bring him to Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
With Fernando Llorente coming on a free transfer in the summer, the Bianconeri could sell Vucinic in order to increase the funds available to them in hopes of signing one of Stevan Jovetic or Luis Suarez.
The report states that Conte would agree to Vucinic’s sale, but only if it it brought €12-15 million to the club.
