Lucescu: Not only Napoli have noticed my work with Shakhtar

Shakhtar Donestk coach and target has refused to be drawn on those rumours and says that many clubs are interested in him.

The former and boss also said that he believes Napoli are a team “that can achieve much more than they have, especially in the Europa League.”

He said when speaking with Radio Crc: “Will I go back to Italy? You never know as I enjoyed my time there and at the end of May, I will be a free agent and can assess all possibilities then.

“As far as being next coach of Napoli, it is not fair to talk about these things but I would like to visit Capri as I have never been there,” he continued. “The Italian league is a very charming one but I have never spoken with president De Laurentiis and do not know him.

“Although I will say that it is not only Napoli who have noticed the great work that I have done with Shakhtar.”

The 67-year-old has won six league titles, four Ukrainian Cups and a UEFA Cup during his time in Donetsk.
