Mourinho Interested in Serie A Return
In a recent interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho eluded to a possible return to Inter.
“I had two fantastic years in Italy with my Inter FC,” he said in a video for the paper’s website. ”You never know – maybe I’ll be back one day. If I do, it will be with great pleasure and great emotion.”
There is much speculation that Mourinho will leave Madrid at the conclusion of this season. Though the Portuguese coach has been linked to Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea, the former Inter boss has always reflected positively on his time with Nerazzurri.
“I also wonder why I left. Inter is the club where I liked to be. No one gave me the same happiness,” Mourinho explained.
Though Mourinho has spoken about his love for Inter, the club’s owner Massimo Moratti has rejected any approach for the former coach.
Mourinho won two Scudetto, one Champions League and one Coppa Italia and Super Coppa Italiana during his two seasons at Inter.
