Niang: It was like playing against 22 Barcelona players

forward M’Baye Niang has likened playing last night as being akin to coming up against 22 opposition players.

The Spanish side advanced with a 4-0 win although the former Caen man missed a glorious first half chance for the Rossoneri.

He toldĀ foot123.fr: “We knew that Barcelona would want to win especially in front of the crowd of their own fans.

“They put a lot of pressure on us and forced us to remain in midfield and it was much more difficult than in the first leg.

“It was like we were playing against 22 players and it was not a great day for us.”

The 18-year-old insists that his side will not concentrate completely on finishing second in and secure Champions League qualification.

“Now we must try and finish second in the league and give our best for that. This was my first time playing against Barcelona and I was very impressed with them.”
