Pescara goalkeeper commited to parent club
Pescara goalkeeper Mattia Perin has reiterated his intent to play for parent club Genoa despite interest from AC Milan.
The on-loan Delfini keeper has been strongly linked with a move to the Rossoneri in the summer but insists he will play for Genoa next season.
“I have renewed my contract with Genoa,” Perin told reporters.
“I owe so much to the Grifone. They have taught me many things – both on and off the field.”
Despite his excellent form, Perin has been replaced between the sticks by Ivan Pelizzoli as Pescara’s starting goalkeeper in recent fixtures.
