Roma legend backs Andreazzoli

Former Italy international and legend has expressed his support for the current Giallorossi coach .

Andreazzoli took over after Zdenek Zeman’s departure in February as an interim solution but Giannini believes the club should continue next season with their current coach.

“Andreazzoli has managed to give the team more solidity” Giannini told Radio Mana Mana.

“He is doing really well with the opportunity that he has been given. If he continues like this then he would deserve to stay.

“Especially as I wouldn’t want another Vincenzo Montella situation, who wasn’t considered good enough to keep and who instead turned out to be a revelation elsewhere.”

Andreazzoli previously served as the assistant coach to Zeman at Roma.
