Rossi: Juventus must avoid Barcelona and Real Madrid

Former striker believes that his old club must not draw either one of the remaining Spanish duo or in the Champions League quarter-finals to have the best chance of progression.

The Bianconeri overcame with a 5-0 aggregate win while Barcelona bested and Real Madrid eliminated to reach this stage.

Speaking with Sky Sports, Rossi said: “I think that Barcelona and Real Madrid are definitely the teams to avoid for Juventus.

“Madrid have a big squad and it is one that is filled with quality while Barcelona proved against Milan that they are a team to fear too.

“There has been talk that they are not at their best but they can count on players like [Lionel] Messi who can make a difference.

The draw will be made tomorrow morning.
