Sampdoria boss Delio Rossi has paid tribute to his club’s opponents ahead of Sunday’s match with Parma.

The Ducali will travel to Genoa to take on the Blucerchiati at the Marassi, and the 52 year-old is anticipating a hard-fought encounter with Roberto Donadoni’s  side.

“Parma have been playing well this season,” Rossi said in a press conference. “They have built a really interesting squad and a I expect them to come here and play well.

“But we must continue with the same attitude that we’ve shown so far and always remember the values and strengths of the opponent.”

The veteran tactician will be back on the touchline for the game after serving a two match ban for aiming a vulgar gesture towards Roma’s Nicolas Burdisso in week 24.
