Striker looking to leave Chievo

Chievo striker Cyril Thereau has come out to declare that he wants to leave the club at the end of this season.

Thereau has been linked with a move to fourth placed Fiorentina, but has kept his options open without publicly declaring any particular destination.

Speaking to RMC the striker said, “I have set my sights on finishing this season with over 10 goals

“I have played in this shirt for two years now, and for me it’s time to move on.

“I want to play for a big club like Fiorentina, Lazio or Roma – although I want to clarify how much I have liked it in Verona.”

The French forward has made 77 appearances for the Flying Donkeys, scoring 12 times.
