UEFA rejects Lazio appeal

will be playing in an empty Stadio Olimpico for their next two European match as a result of fans misbehaving  during the 2-0 win over German side Borussia Moenchengladbach.

The Aquile lost their appeal to to lift the ban after disagreeing with the verdict.

The Stadio Olimpico outfit were also fined €40,000 on top of this.

The ban that is now imposed will mean that the Stadio Olimpico will be empty when Lazio host on 14 March in the second leg of their last-16 tie in the with a 2-0 lead from the first tie.

Lazio advanced over Mönchengladbach with 5-3 on aggregate following a 3-3 draw in the first leg .
