Novara coach Alfredo Aglietti has voiced his belief that, despite his own concerns, on-loan striker Haris Seferovic will be plying his trade in Serie A for Fiorentina next season.

Since signing for the Florence club from Grasshopper Zurich in January 2010 the 21-year-old has already spent time on loan at Swiss club Neuchatel Xmax and Lecce last season.

However, it is Vincenzo Montella’s confidence in the striker that has convinced Aglietti his near future will be in Viola colours come September.

“Montella believes in him because he has room for improvement.” Aglietti told Radio Blue.

“I think for next season he will be ready to return to Fiorentina.

“Personally, I think another year on loan could make him grow even more.”

Despite scoring prolifically at youth levels for the Switzerland Seferovic has struggled to consistently find the net, managing just four goals in 32 senior league appearances.

With Fiorentina aiming for European football once more next season the youngster would still provide further attacking options for the Viola.
