Lazio coach Vladimir Petkovic feels the referee was at fault as his side crashed to a 2-0 defeat in their Europa League quarter-final against Fenerbahce.
The Biancocelesti has Ogenyi Onazi sent off for collecting two yellow cards, while Stefan Radu gave away a penalty with a deliberate handball.
“We did not deserve this sort of treatment,” Petkovic told Sky Sport Italia.
“But now we have to roll up our sleeves and think about the match against Roma.
“We are still not out of the competition, but of course, the referee has had an influence on this game.
“We still believe though. Not having Onazi or Mauri will affect us a lot.
“But with intelligence and belief we can overturn this result.
“We will give everything to go through.”
