According to France’s Le 10 Sport, Lyon centre-back Dejan Lovren is being targeted by Roma for a summer move.
It is suggested the defender could join the Giallorossi for around £8.5 million, although his current contract runs until 2016.
The Croatian international has been with the French side since 2010, and has become an important part of the side, featuring in over 70 matches from the club. The 23-year-old has faced several injuries in the past few seasons, however, which has kept his number of appearances down.
Yet, that has not curtailed his potential as one of the brightest centre-backs in Europe.
Roma are expected to have some competition for the big defender as AC Milan and English Premier League side Chelsea have also been linked with the Croatian.
