Ascoli fans have left a macabre mark on the club’s training ground warning the players, in no uncertain terms, what will happen should the club be relegated.
The Picchio are currently embroiled in a relegation battle in Serie B, and are six points from safety, though are in the playoff zone.
However, supporters placed 11 crosses in the training pitch, accompanied by the message: “Our patience is finished, salvation or violence.”
Their last league match ended in a 3-2 defeat by Brescia, but they do have games against Ternana and Cittadella in which to rescue their season.
