Junior LacayoSeventeen-year-old Junior Lacayo could be arriving in Serie A this summer with Cagliari and Udinese showing an interest in the Honduran striker.

After being called into the Honduran national squads at just 16-years-old Lacayo has been receiving interest from overseas, and comparisons with fellow countryman David Suazo, who spent 13 years playing in Italy.

Tuttomercatoweb.com reported that Premier League side West Ham United had been attempting to take the striker to England, but work permit regulations have forced them to abandon a deal.

FIFA agent Gianfranco Cicchetti has been negotiating with the two Italian clubs, and a fee of around €600,000 would convince current club Victoria to sell the youngster, but may face competition from Mexican side Tigres.

However, while the Mexicans are willing and able to pay required fee for Lacayo, he is believed to prefer a move to a European club.
