Aleksandar Kolarov - Manchester CityInter boss Walter Mazzarri plans on rebuilding the Nerazzurri squad starting with bids for Manchester City’s Aleksandar Kolarov and Danilo D’Ambrosio.

Mazzarri is famous for using a three-man defence with wingbacks getting forward to support the attack.  This style brought him success with Napoli and he reportedly plans to use the same system with new club Inter.

Tuttosport have claimed that Mazzarri’s primary focus is to bring in new competition for the wing-back positions and has targeted Kolorov of and Torino’s D’Ambrosio.

Kolorov, 27, previously played for Lazio and is thought to be valued at around €6 million by City.  A stumbling block could be the player’s wage demands as his current salary is unlikely to be matched by Inter.

The Serbian international can play left-back or left-midfield and is a free-kick specialist.

A cheaper option for the right flank is D’Ambrosio who could be available for €3m.

The 24-year old made 28 Serie A appearances for Torino last season scoring two goals and providing three assists.

Inter are reportedly already in negotiations with Dusan Basta from Udinese but if an agreement cannot be reached D’Ambrosio is likely to be considered the next best option.
