Stevan Jovetic - FiorentinaJuventus could be starting to turn Fiorentina’s heads in their bid to land striker Stevan Jovetic as a fresh offer has been made which includes midfielder Luca Marrone as part of the deal.

The Bianconeri have already made numerous offers in informal negotiations between the clubs, but Tuttosport are today reporting that a fresh offer of €20 million plus Marrone may be the turning point.

In May, Tuttosport revealed that Juventus had previously offered Fiorentina Marrone in a co-ownership deal that equated to around €5m. The deal would have also included striker Fabio Quagliarella and a total of €7m.

Fiorentina remain stubborn on their €30m valuation of the Montenegrin international, but Juventus are hoping that Marrone’s €10m valuation will help them reach that figure.

Marrone, 23, is currently in Israel at the U21 European Championships with Italy and appeared in the Azzurri’s opening game against England.

Last season he made 15 appearances for Juventus, including one appearance in the Champions League.

The Bianconeri are keen to add a striker this summer with Real Madrid’s Gonzalo Higuain and Manchester City’s Carlos Tevez among the targets.

Interest in Jovetic goes beyond Juventus with a host of English sides reportedly watching developments in Italy. It is believed that the Viola would prefer to sell to a foreign club so they don’t strengthen their rivals.
