Joel Obi could be part of a clear out sale at Internazionale this summer with new coach Walter Mazzarri having already deemed him surplus to requirements.
The former Napoli boss is looking at a major overhaul of the Nerrazzurri squad given their poor showing in Serie A last season and it seems the young Nigerian will be moved on this summer.
Tuttomercatoweb claim that Mazzarri wants a solid squad of 22 players at Inter, and Joel Obi is not one of them and it is claimed he could be sold at a bargain price to a Premier League club, with Newcastle and Sunderland the most likely.
Obi has had a poor injury record at Inter, ever since his full debut in 2010. Since then he has only managed 56 appearances for the club with just one Serie A goal.
