Real Madrid striker open to Juventus move after stating he will leave Los Blancos

Gonzalo Higuain Real MadridGonzalo Higuain has opened the door to a possible move to Juventus after stating he will be leaving Real Madrid this summer.

The Argentine international has been heavily linked with a move to the Bianconeri in recent weeks, and his announcement has opened the door to a possible deal.

“I am here to say I am leaving. My time at Real Madrid ends here,” he stated after the club’s final game of the season against Osasuna.

“I wanted to say it in person and thank everyone for these past seven years. I repeat: it is time for me to leave as it is the right moment to try something new. I am looking for new challenges.

“Now I am on the transfer market. I will listen to offers that are made for me and I hope everything ends well, for me and for Real Madrid.

“Juventus? Yes, the interest from Juventus is strong. even though there is nothing concrete yet. I want to go where I will be well liked, where I can repay the faith a team will show in me.

“These have been seven great years and to there is no need to create controversy now. It is only time for a change. My decision has been made and I hope that Madrid want what is best for themselves and for me as well.”
