Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has declared that Los Blancos are a stronger side now that they have Carlo Ancelotti as their coach.
Ancelotti joined the Spanish giants from Paris Saint-Germain earlier this summer after the departure of Jose Mourinho to Chelsea.
Despite being a regular under the Portuguese tactician, Benzema revealed that he believes the changes Ancelotti is implementing will make Real a stronger side.
“The coach has changed the tactics with the team and it is a good thing,” he stated after scoring the lone goal in Real’s victory over PSG on Sunday.
“We are becoming stronger because the coach is very close to us and is working to make us improve.
“The training sessions are very tough but we are responding well and want to continue on in order to be ready for the start of the season.”
