Fiorentina are thought to be pondering a swap deal involving Mounir El Hamdaoui and FC Twente goalkeeper Nikolaj Mihajlov.
The Viola are keen to bring in a new custodian after the loan of Emilano Viviano was not made permanent and they have been previously linked to the 25-year-old Serbian.
According to La Nazione, the Dutch side would be willing to offer €3 million plus their goalkeeper in order to obtain the services of Fiorentina’s Moroccan international.
However, despite being interested in the deal the Tuscan side want €5m for El Hamdaoui, as well as Mihajlov.
El Hamdaoui arrived at the Stadio Franchi last summer but struggled to make an impact on Vincenzo Montella’s side.
