Genoa close to finalizing capture of Catania midfielder
The 29-year-old has long been coveted by Grifone president Enrico Preziosi and it appears as though the fiery owner is close to finally signing the Naples native.
Il Corriere Mercantile report that a deal is so close to being done, that Lodi could already join up with his new teammates on Monday for pre-season training.
Along with being a free-kick specialist, Lodi has been heralded as one of Serie A’s top deep lying playmakers. Since joining the Elefanti from Frosinone in 2010, Lodi has made 90 appearances while scoring 20 goals for the club.
