Schelotto - InterEzequiel Schelotto had insisted he would be happy with a move to Chievo Verona this summer.

The 23 year old joined Inter from Atalanta in January, but new coach Walter Mazzarri has not included Schelotto in the squad for pre-season.

“One door has closed, but another will open,” he told TMW. “I’m not part of the squad in Pinzolo, but I have an Inter contract for another four years.

“Whatever the club decides to do will be fine by me and I’m still happy to be an Inter player.

“The decision to not select me was a surprise, but every coach has his own ideas and he takes the decisions which he wants.

“What did Mazzarri say? I haven’t spoken to him and I don’t know him. I would have liked to have remained, but what can I do?”

The Italian International has been linked with a move to Chievo and such a move seems satisfactory for him.

“I’ve played for clubs at Chievo’s level,” he continued. “They have good players and it would not be a step backwards for me.

“I’m satisfied with their interest in me, but I’ll have to evaluate a lot of things and I will do so with calm.”

Schelotto made 12 league appearences last season for Inter, scoring one goal in the process.
