Luca Marrone Juventus and midfielder are close to finalizing a deal that will see the youngster extend his contract at the club while receiving a pay increase.

The Turin native has been linked with a loan move away from the Bianconeri this summer in order to secure more regular first team football.

Though no deal is imminent regarding a move, gianlucadirmarzio.com are reporting that the two sides are close to an agreement that will see the Under 21 star extend his contract at the club.

While no details have filtered out during negotiations, it is believed that only a signature is needed to close the deal.

Marrone made 15 appearances in all competitions for the Italian champions last season.

- A passionate F.C. Internazionale supporter since the young age of 10, my love for the club came about on a family trip to Italy after their signing of Roberto Baggio. Much to the dismay of my father (a Milan fan) my love for the club only grew stronger and has taken me on trips to Genova and Boston to see my club in action. The greatest of these journeys was being blessed by incredible luck (to which this day I still cannot comprehend) which allowed me to travel to Madrid, see the 2010 Champions League Final in the flesh and experience a week-long trip that will probably never be surpassed.
