Juventus midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini is close to joining Sunderland, according to reports.
The midfielder has attracted a great deal of attention after impressing for Italy during the Confederations Cup earlier this summer and it is thought the midfielder has agreed to join the Premier League club in search of more playing time.
Gazzetta dello Sport reported that a deal has been struck between the clubs for around €10m, and Giaccherini will now discuss personal terms with the side.
Paulo Di Canio’s side have been scouring Serie A for talent, also reportedly chasing Inter products.
The 24 year old joined Juventus in 2011 for €3m from Genoa and has appeared 40 times, scoring four goals.
I think it’s a loss if he leaves Juve.
