Monaco intensify interest in AC Milan defender

Antonini - AC Milan have stepped up their efforts to sign from .

The Italian has been shortlisted by the newly promoted side despite positive declarations from the player.

Tuttomercatoweb claims Monaco have made contact with Antonini’s representatives with the view of a move.

The 30 year-old has seen less and less playing time following the emergence of and at left-back.

Monaco have undergone a massive transformation under with the arrival of several big name signings.

The full-back could join former Milan teammate should the veteran be offered a contract extension.

Antonini only played nine games last season in all competitions.
