MorattiInter owner Massimo Moratti is reportedly close to finalizing an agreement with Erick Thohir that will see him sell 75% of the club to the Indonesian businessman.

Reports indicate that legal representatives from both sides are carefully looking over the details of the sale as all indications suggest an agreement has been reached.

Tuttosport are reporting that the sale will see Jason Levien, who co-owns MLS side DC United with Thohir, become part of the Inter board of directors.

The newspaper suggests that the presence of former Nerazzurri star Youri Djorkaeff, who has knowledge of the game in America, in Milan in recent days is a sign that he could also become part of the club’s management once the sale goes through.

Moratti has stated in recent weeks that while negotiations were on-going, he was not interested in selling the majority share of the club.
