Napoli close in on Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper

Julio Cesar - QPR are edging closer to finally completing the signing goalkeeper .

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 33-year-old is returning from his vacation and is set to meet with agent to work out a deal with the Partenopei that will benefit both sides.

The Brazilian international is asking for €2.7 million a season, but is reportedly open to accepting the €2.4m offer from Napoli president .

The former Inter man has also been linked to and Premier League side Arsenal, but it seems the Azzurri are leading the race for his signature.

Sources speculate that the player is being brought to Naples as a possible replacement for current keeper , who has also been on the Giallorossi’s radar and could be sold to them if the Cesar deal goes through.

Julio Cesar spent the 2012-13 campaign in England with QPR as they were relegated from the Premier League.
