Keisuke Honda CSKA MoscowFIFA agent Ernesto Bronzetti has stated that Keisuke Honda was an avid AC Milan fan as a child as the Japanese star edges closer to a move to the Rossoneri.

Bronzetti was in the meeting in which the Japanese star reportedly agreed to terms with the Rossoneri which will see Honda earn €2.5 million per year on a four-year contract.

“Honda’s brother told me that, as a child, Keisuke had the Milan devil tattooed onto his shoulder,” Bronzetti told Gazzetta TV.

“When he kicked a ball for the first few times, he did it in a Milan shirt.”

“He was crazy about [former Milan player Dejan] Savicevic.”

Bronzetti also admitted that Juventus had been interested in the 27-year-old.

“There was a meeting with Juve and other teams too, but he dreamed only of Milan.”

The only issue remaining is whether Honda will join Milan this summer or in January 2014, when his contract with CSKA Moscow expires.

“The problem is that there are six more months left on his contract.”

“He would like to come to Milan immediately, but he is also willing to wait until January to pull on the red and black shirt.”
