Jonathan - InterParma are close to securing deals that will see both Gianni Munari and Jonathan join the club over the next few days.

A price has been set with Sampdoria for midfielder Munari, who is set to join the Crociati in a permanent deal, while Inter’s Jonathan is likely to arrive on loan.

Both transfers could be concluded by the end of the week, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Sassuolo native Munari has been offered a five year contract by the Gialloblu as they seek to continue their summer reinforcement.

Having joined Sampdoria on the last day of December 2012, the giant midfielder has made himself a fixture in the Blucerchiati’s side, playing forty-three times for the club.

Meanwhile, Brazilian full-back Jonathan, who had a brief spell on loan at the Stadio Ennio Tardini in 2012, has been unable to secure a place in the Nerazzurri’s line-up on his return to Inter. Parma are hoping to bring the 27-year-old in on a year’s loan.

It is thought that with the possibility of both of these players swelling their ranks, it might encourage Parma to sell French forward Jonathan Biabiany, who is thought to be leaving the club over the summer.
