Marco Capuano PescaraWith the list of potential suitors for Marco Capuano increasing by the day it has been reported that Pescara have rejected exchange offers from Lazio and Bologna for the youngster.

Although Genoa and Livorno had also joined the list of those wanting to take the 21-year-old back to Serie A next season it was thought that Lazio were in pole position for the Italian Under-21 international due to the excellent relationship between the Biancocelesti and Pescara.

However, with the Rome club hoping that the offer Giuseppe Sculli in exchange would be enough to secure Capuano’s signature Tuttomercatoweb have reported that the Abruzzi would have responded with a resounding no.

This would also have been the case for Bologna who were seemingly willing to trade both Nico Pulzetti and Federico Casarini for the centre-back.

With reports that French club Rennes or Premier League side Aston Villa could now make a move for the talented defender it seems he could not only be plying his trade away from Serie A next season but Italy altogether.

Would be a shame if he left Pescara; after their defensive woes last season, was hoping to see Capuano flourish in B.
