Giacomo-Bonaventura-AtalantaAfter attempts to sign Adem Ljajic from rivals Fiorentina failed AC Milan are thought to be considering a move for young Atalanta’s attacker Giacomo Bonaventura as they look to add more reinforcements ahead of the new season.

During an impressive campaign last term in Bergamo the 23-year-old had already been attracting plenty of interest from fellow Serie A clubs but despite that attention has remained with the Orobici.

However, according to Tuttoatalanta the Rossoneri could now move for the Italian international, although it is reported that it president Antonio Percassi will resist any offer to take him from the club.

Last term Bonaventura made 36 Serie A appearances for the Orobici scoring seven times with his performances earning him his first cap for the Azzurri against San Marino at the end of the season.

Current Atalanta coach Stefano Colantuono will be hoping that the young attacker will remain with his side for at least another season as they look to improve on their 15th place finish in the last campaign.

Um, Bonaventura is a midfielder. He doesn’t really play in an attacking position either.
