Nigel de Jong has declared AC MIlan will react in the right way after they lost their opening match in the Serie A against Hellas Verona.
The Rossoneri took the lead after an early goal from Andrea Poli, but a Luca Toni brace ultimately led to victory for the Gialloblu.
The 28-year-old de Jong used his twitter account to give his opinion about the match: ”Bad start of the season, but we will bounce back.”
The Dutchman did not appear in the line-up partly because of injury, but it is expected that he will be ready to play against PSV Eindhoven at the San Siro on Wednesday.
Defensive midfielder De Jong joined Milan in the summer of 2012 from Manchester City and has played 12 matches for the club.
