The agent of Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has poured cold water on reports linking the French striker with a move to Roma.
The French international has been with Madrid since 2009, scoring 87 goals in 183 appearances for Los Blancos in that time.
Despite rumours linking him with a move to Roma, his agent was quick to dismiss those reports.
“No, I never spoke to anyone from Roma, nor have they contacted me to start negotiations,” Karim Djaziri told Radio Manà Manà.
“It is pure fantasy. Roma are a great club, but how would it be possible for Karim to leave a club like Real Madrid?
“These are just transfer rumours. Karim is happy to play for the Blancos and will remain in Spain.”
