Bianchi Prepared To Work At Bologna
Having joined the Felsinei on a free transfer this summer, the former Granata captain admitted he is still finding his feet at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.
He spoke at length to BolognaFC.it, and was optimistic about the club’s season.
“Surely it is promising, and a positive start”, the striker enthused, before going on to say “Among my teammates I found some very good guys, who are very eager to grow and improve. For me it’s more reason to give 200% and do the best I can”.
The whole-hearted striker also spoke of his pride of his achievements at Torino, where he was the first player to score ten goals in Serie A for more than a decade, but knew that he was starting anew at the Rossoblu.
“I am starting from scratch; I have to gain the trust of my team-mates, the environment and everyone”, he conceded, before praising the team spirit he found at the club.
“Here, I am in an already developed dressing room”, Bianchi admitted, “So I just have to adapt to what is possible and use my experience if I can”.
Having spent five years in Turin, Bianchi was allowed to leave the club this summer, with Bologna winning the race for his signature.
