Pescara have reportedly turned down an offer from Scottish giants Celtic for defender Marco Capuano.
With Pescara recently relegated to Serie B after last seasons last place finish, there have been reports that the youngster could be set for a move away from the Delfini.
A bid of €2 million was reportedly made for the Italian Under 21 international, an improved bid from their €1.7m bid that was recently made according to Tuttosport.
The promising 21-year-old has played for Pescara since 2010, making 68 appearances for the club. Last season, he appeared in 26 Serie A matches.
Capuano most recently played for the Italian U-21 team that took second place – with Spain winning the tournament – at the European Championship in June.
