Adem Ljajic - FiorentinaFiorentina president Andrea Della Valle has admitted that star forward Adem Ljajic could leave the club before the close of the summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to AC Milan this summer and Della Valle did nothing to quell those rumours by stating the Serbian’s future will be decided next week.

“There are several options. Next week we will get a definitive answer regarding the question,” the president told reporters ahead of the Viola’s Europa League qualifier against Grasshopper.

“We must understand the player’s desire. It is not said that he will stay here in the end as we are evaluating everything.”

Della Valle also gave his thoughts on the Viola’s return to Europe after last seasons superb 4th place finish.

“Returning to Europe after two seasons is a great result. We will be facing a tough side, one of the worst in the draw, but we have faith.”

“[Giuseppe] Rossi and [Mario] Gomez? Rossi has been with us since January as we signed him after six months of interest. Gomez is the striker we were missing.”
