Sorrentino - PalermoFiorentina are supposedly interested in signing Palermo goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino.

The Viola are in desperate need of a goalkeeper after deciding not to sign Emiliano Viviano permanently following his loan spell at the club last year.

According to the Corriere dello Sport it is possible that a deal with the former Chievo man could be reached in the coming days.

Vincenzo Montella’s men have also been linked to the likes of Cagliari’s Michael Agazzi and Julio Cesar of QPR, who came close to joining Napoli this summer.

Sorrentino spent five years at Chievo before leaving to join the Sicilians in January of this year.
