julio cesar - interQueens Park Rangers and Fiorentina have agreed a deal that will see goalkeeper Julio Cesar return to the peninsula this summer.

Cesar found himself out of the club’s matchday squad for their Championship opener last weekend against Sheffield Wednesday.

TuttosportĀ report that the player is fearful of losing his place in the Brazil squad ahead of next summer’s World Cup in his home country and as a result may lower his wage demands from the Tuscan outfit.

There has been an agreement in place for some time between the Viola and the London club with the only terms that need to be agreed being between the player himself and the Gigliati.

Having lost last season’s goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano upon the expiry of his loan deal, Vincenzo Montella’s men remain on the lookout for a new number one between the posts.
