Fiorentina forward to decide his future on Monday
Ljajic’s contract in Florence runs out in 2014, and while negotiations over a contract renewal have so far proven fruitless, he has been persistently linked with a transfer to Serie A rivals AC Milan all summer.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 21-year-old Serbian international will weigh up his options over the weekend, with several clubs interested in acquiring his services.
However, the solution favoured by the player is a move to the Stadio San Siro, despite Gigliati president Cognigni claiming that the forward would not be boarding the train to Milan.
Ljajic has been at the Artemio Franchi since making the move from Partizan Belgrade in 2010, and so far has 16 goals in 87 games for the Tuscan giants.
