Genoa midfielder looking forward to good performance against Stoke City
The Grifone have performed well in friendlies this summer under new coach Fabio Liverani as they look to improve on last seasons 17th place finish.
The midfielder, who played for Italy at this summer’s Under 21 European Championship, also revealed that he has taken a great liking to the city after being born in bred in Rome.
“It will be important to give continuity to our presentation against Stoke City as we haven’t suffered too much,” he told Genoa’s official website.
“Objectives? They coincide with that of the club. Then if some goals and assists arrive I wouldn’t be too fussy.”
“Genoa has entered my heart. With respect to Roma the people are more closed up, but it is a city that must be discovered little by little. And besides I like to take trips to the park. The green and the sea, what else can you ask for?
“We have all given our availability and we are looking to help the new players in the group which has been one of the best things of this early season.
