Me and Calcio, our relation started with Batistuta’s great goal against Juve in 1999 and survived hard times when Totti humiliated Edwin van der Sar with a fantastic chip during the Euro2000 in my country and our relation was more or less over when Inzaghi scored a late goal for Milan against my club Ajax in 2003. Felt in love again when Prandelli’s stunning Fiorentina surprised Europe and definitely back again since the day I experienced the extraordinary atmosphere in the San Paolo.
