Inter insist young striker isn’t leaving the club
Twenty-one-year-old Algerian international Belfodil arrived on a co-ownership deal from Parma last month, and has already been linked with a move away from the Beneamata on loan.
“In response to stories appearing in the media, FC Internazionale denies reports that Ishak Belfodil might be leaving the club,” read an official statement from the Milanese giants.
The Marassi outfit would then let Marco Borriello leave for Inter as Belfodil’s replacement, with the two frontmen trading places.
Another report suggests that the starlet could be moved on if Inter manage to resign Cameroonian striker Samuel Eto’o from Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala.
Belfodil, who represented France up to Under-20 level, but chose to play for his native Argentina as a senior international, managed 8 goals in 33 Serie A appearances for Parma last season.
