Victor Ibarbo - CagliariChampions Juventus are looking to recruit Cagliari forward Victor Ibarbo and are readying to make a bid for the speedy striker.

Coach Antonio Conte has identified the Colombian as an ideal part of his three-man attack, and the Bianconeri are looking to sign half his registration.

Tuttosport report that the Rossoblu would receive €5 million and 50% of Juventus’ young striker Stefano Beltrame as part of the deal, but it is unclear if that would match the Isolani’s approval.

With the deal set to ensure Juventus can redeem the other half of Ibarbo’s registration next summer, it is more likely the stumbling block will be in the second figure due from the Bianconeri, as the total valuation of the Tumaco native is higher in the eyes of Cagliari.

Representatives of the two clubs will meet to discuss a deal once Juventus return from the United States with Friday looking likely and it is likely that a compromise will be reached.

The Turin-based newspaper also reports that the only forseeable problem in the transfer taking place is the interest of Napoli, who are also known to be interested in the pacey forward.

Ibarbo joined Cagliari from Atletico Nacional in 2011 and has gone on to play more than 70 games for the Rossoblu.
