Ljajic - FiorentinaLiverpool and Galatasaray are the latest clubs to be linked with a move for Fiorentina forward Adem Ljajic as his days with the Viola begin to look numbered.

The 21-year-old’s contract is set to expire next summer and talks over a renewal have stalled as the Serbian continues to be linked with a move to AC Milan.

Although Ljajic would be happy to stay at the Viola without a contract extension, it appears as though the club do not want a repeat of Riccardo Montolivo’s move last summer when he joined the Rossoneri on a free transfer.

With president Andrea Della Valle declaring that “it’s difficult to see Ljajic staying with us”, Tuttomercatoweb.com reports that Liverpool and Galatasaray have joined the race to land the Serbian’s signature.

Though the forward did feature for the Gigliati in their Europa League match against Grasshopper on Thursday, the chances of Ljajic leaving the club before September 2nd continue to grow with every day that passes.

Ljajic scored 11 goals in 28 Serie A appearances for Fiorentina last season as the club finished the season in 4th place.
