Livorno complete capture of Siena forward
The Amaranto have been linked with a move for the Nigerian born Swiss striker for several days but a deal has finally been reached for the former Lorient man.
The club’s official website announced the deal and will see the 24-year-old initially join on loan for €1 million, with the option to purchase half of his rights for €2m at the end of the season.
Emeghara scored seven goals in 17 appearances for the Tuscan side after joining in January, but it was not enough to keep Siena in the Serie A.
Livorno have also announced the signing of defender Leandro Rinaudo, who joins the Amaranto after spending last season at Napoli. He failed to make an appearance for the Azzurri and was without a club after his contract expired earlier this summer.
